👋🏽 Infinite Players Club!

Here’s my favorite writing work from the past couple of years. Hope you enjoy.

TV CAMPAIGN

For the ‘22 WNBA tipoff we heroed legendary players by imagining their careers as films you could rent at a fictional store. Nike let us take a lot of creative space with the campaign (although they understandably drew the line at calling Sheryl Swoopes’ baby an alien life form). To concept the video store world and posters, I worked really closely with my art director throughout the whole process. From my fashion days, I love casting, so I was stoked that the team backed my suggestion of having the actress Veronica Taylor (AKA Bobbi from Euphoria) read for our video clerk.

SOCIAL CAMPAIGN

This social campaign for Nike’s newest signature athlete (the first woman to get her own shoe since Swoopes) is rolling out on @nikebasketball right now. The ethos of the campaign - if you learn everything, you can do anything - feels kinda like a spiritual companion to the vision for Infinite Players Club.

BRAND WORK

This is from my days freelancing in NYC. Not as slick as the agency stuff but I wanted to include this example since it was a brand that I helped shaped. I had a lot of fun concepting this TOV, I approached it as if I was writing for a Dr. Bronner’s bottle but less creepy. Of course, this would not be my method if I was writing for Infinite Players Club (the founder of OnTheSly is a big Burner). You said you were funky!

THANK YOU FOR 👀!

If you want deeper insight into how I think, here’s some of my brainstorming from my time in portfolio school.
